Question: Could you explain (II
Timothy 3:16)? It means that the whole bible was given to us by the inspiration of God. It is to teach us what is true and to realize what is wrong in our lives. When we need correction, it straightens us out; that is what God gave us this instruction book for. Question: Where does it say in the
bible that we can fall from salvation and that the old saying
"once saved always saved" is not true. You can find it in (Hebrews 6:4-6) What it is saying, is that after you have been saved by Christ, have known the truth and the power that goes with the Word, having tasted all the good things of the Holy Spirit; then you turn against God and reject Him. You cannot bring yourself to repent, if you have nailed the Son of God to the cross again by rejecting Him. Question: Where can I find the two
churches that Christ approved of? They are the church of Smyrna (Revelations 2:8), and the church of Philadelphia (Revelations 3:7), and Christ approved of them because they knew what the "Key of David" was, and they knew about the "Kenites." Question: If Ham, the son of Noah, did the deed. Why did Canaan get the curse? There are several views on this subject. Here is one that makes sense. Ham had been previously blessed. Genesis 9:1 states, "And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth." Noah and his sons (including Ham) had been blessed by the Lord. Noah would not have cursed what God had blessed. Ham could not be cursed by Noah. So he cursed his son. There is some biblical support for this when Balaam was asked to curse the Israelites, the Lord told him, "thou shalt not curse the people: for they are blessed" (Numbers 22:12). That is, God has already blessed them; therefore, they cannot now be cursed. Noah would not have wanted to curse whom God had blessed and it would have been within Jewish tradition to curse the son for the fathers sin. (Numbers 14:18). Noah would have been quite aware of this tradition. Question: Can you tell me where Satan
is spoken of as the King of Tyrus? In the book of Ezekiel 28:12-19 it speaks of the prince of tyrus. In Hebrew Tyrus means a rock (tsor), or a place in Palestine. The rock is referring to Satan, but he is not our rock. Many believe this also applies to a human king of Tyre. Question: If a Christian is married
to an unbeliever or believer of a different faith should they
remain married or divorce? Read (I Corinthians 7:12-16), and you will find your answer. Never let differences of faith come between a marriage. God works in mysterious ways, and you never know when someone will come to the truth and the light. You also may have children to consider in this matter. Question: There is a scripture in the
bible that says we should marry rather than burn in hell. Can you
tell me what scripture it is and what it means? When the apostle Paul was addressing the Corinthians he explained that it was good for the unmarried and widows to abide as he did, as an unmarried single. But, if one could not contain themselves, it would be better to marry than to burn in hell. (I Corinthians 7:7-9) In other words, if you can be single and not whore around, this would be better to serve the Lord. But, if you cannot keep yourself from such actions, it would be better for you to marry than continue to commit sexual sin. It appears that there are still those in the religious system who think they can stay single and still commit acts of perversion. You know who they are! Question: Where can I find scripture
that says God will avenge all those who deserve it, or will take
care of unsolved murders? Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. (Romans 12:19) There are no unsolved murders or crimes that hurt others. Our Heavenly Father will take care of them at His will. But they will be taken care of. Question: Can you give me scripture
that shows that Christ preached to the souls in hell after His
crucifixion? You will find it in the book of Peter when He went and preached to the spirits in prison while He was three days in the tomb. He preached to those who were on the wrong side of the gulf. For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. (I Peter 3:18-20) Question: In I John 2:16 it talks
about things of the world. I know that we are not to love things
of the world, but is it of the world to be proud of someone? It
says that pride is of the world, but isn't God proud of us when we
do good? I know where your coming from so lets take a look at the scripture. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. (I John 2:16) Remember that Satan's biggest downfall was self-pride and here we are also speaking of self-pride or the pride of life. The "pride" that comes from wealth, power and importance; these are not from God, but rather from this evil world itself. You know the type. Those who are so proud of themselves and their accomplishments such as wealth, fame, power or think that they are something special because of a title. We are not talking here about being proud of someone for doing a good thing. But yes our Heavenly Father is proud of us when we do His will. Question: What scripture describes
that there is a gulf that separates the good from the bad in
heaven. You will find it in the New Testament Gospel of Luke. The rich man and Lazarus. (Luke 16:26) Question: Can you explain (Luke 16:19) It means that if you are crooked in small matters, that you will be crooked in larger matters also, or even in everything you do. Whether it be about money, the Word, in business, a relationship, etc. Question: Is there scripture that says that the Kenites were the bookkeepers for Israel. There is scripture in the Old Testament book of Chronicles. (I Chronicles 2:55), where it says the families of the scribes were the Kenites who descended from Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab. Question: Does the image of the beast refer to a one world system and what will go on in it? And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. (Revelation 13:15) Satan brings to life and gives authority to the religious beast or one world religious/political system. To worship or take part in this one world system would be to die a spiritual death. Satan wants your soul! He wants you to surrender and worship him and he will give you what you want. He tried the same thing with Jesus in (Matthew 4:1-9) when he offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the world. Who will Satan utilize as the one world religious beast/political system? Many scholars believe he will use the largest and most popular of the Christian organizations, the Papacy. The Catholic church is the largest Christian church, representing over half of all Christians, and is the largest organized body of any world religion. According to the Statistical Yearbook of the Catholic church, the Catholic church's, worldwide recorded membership at the end of 2005 was 1,114,966,000, approximately one-sixth of the worlds population. I believe it will be a one world type of religion where several religious organizations merge together under one ruler. Question: Can you give me the scripture that said that David was a prophet? You can read of him being called a prophet in Acts 2. Question: If you smoke pot on occasion, are you condemned to hell? No! God created all herbs, and when used properly can benefit people in many ways. We are talking moderation here, just as with anything else. As long as you do not let these things come between you and God and living a productive life. Alcohol, and drugs are not necessarily spiritually harmful, but may be harmful to your health. Question: Where does it say in the bible that in the end of time that young men's hearts will fail them? The verse you are quoting from I believe came from the D&C (Doctrines and Covenants), 45:26-27 used by the Later Day Saints. However, this is a passage from the Olivet Prophecy and you will find what I think you are looking for in Luke 21:26 of the King James Bible. You can also find a similar scripture in the Old Testament, Leviticus 26:36. Question: Most of my friends and family celebrate Easter instead of Passover. When I try to tell them Easter is a Pagan holiday and in the old testament times was a celebration of fertility gods and sexual orgies, they just ignore me. How can I explain to them that they are doing wrong? You don't! You can only spread a truth when someone is looking for a truthful answer. Just spread a seed (truth) once in a while and leave it up to the Heavenly Father to make it take and grow. In the first place, I don't know anyone who celebrates Easter as fertility gods or sexual orgies. They celebrate it for the same reason as one would celebrate Passover; The death and resurrection of Christ. It is the reason behind the celebration, not the name of it. You don't want to make a special day out of the Sabbath, so why dwell on a certain name of a celebration that even children know it is about Christ. Quit making a religion out of a certain church or belief. There is no one church, reverend, priest, rabbi, pastor, minister, evangelist, etc. that has all the answers. If they think they do, then they are setting themselves up to be God. Churches are always trying to set themselves apart from each other with certain beliefs and traditions rather than working together to find the truth in the Word. The true church will be established when Christ returns and the record will be set straight on all matters. Question: Do you have any thoughts on where Jacob's pillow is today? Jacob used a stone for a pillow the night he wrestled with God. After God changed his name to Israel, he then used it as a pillar to mark the covenant he made with God. Tradition has it that the Stone was taken to Egypt, and later to the Promised Land when the Israelites came out of Egypt. Jacob's Pillar Stone was to play a vital roll in the three overturnings of the throne of David. The Stone remained in Jerusalem until after 586 B.C. when Jerusalem was destroyed, and it was taken by Jeremiah to Ireland with the daughter of Zedekiah. After this time, the Kings of Ireland would be crowned while seated upon the Pillar Stone of Jacob. When the throne of David was overturned a second time to Scotland, the Stone was taken to Scotland by the first Scottish king, Fergus, in the ninth century, and placed at the ancient capital of Scone (pronounced Skoon). The Scottish kings were also crowned while seated upon it. The Stone of Jacob was seized by King Edward I in 1296, and has been used in the coronation of every English monarch since. Queen Elizabeth II was crowned while sitting on the Coronation Chair containing the Stone. Until recently, the Stone of Jacob (Israel) has sat under the Coronation Chair in Westminster Abbey, in silent testimony to the dual promises made by Almighty God to the descendants of Abraham. After 700 years at Westminster Abbey, the stone was recently returned to Scotland and is on display at Edinburgh Castle. It has remained with the descendants of Israel since the time of Jacob, and the Royal Seed of David have always been crowned upon it. Read our bible study newsletter "The Key of David" to help you with the subject. Question: What scripture is it that says that no weapons will harm God's people if used against them? You will find your answer in the book of Isaiah. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. (Isaiah 54:7). Question: Where is the Ark of the Covenant today, and why can't they find it? Because the Ark of the Covenant is in Heaven with our heavenly Father. And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail. The very temple of God in Heaven is opened to us and the Ark of the Covenant could be seen, which is God's contract with us. The thunders, earthquake and hail is when Armageddon is taking place in the near future. Question: Are the fallen angels and the one third of the angels that followed Satan in the first earth age the same. The one third of the angels (souls) that followed Satan in the first earth age will have a chance to be born through women in this earth age. Many of them are born already and are among us today. They will have a chance to follow God or Satan when they appear at the end of this world age. However, the fallen angels came to earth to seduce the daughters of Adam, not to be born of women. They are a small number in size compared to the one third of the souls. The fallen angels are held in chains until Satan's return in the near future. Question: Where does it talk about the laws of God in the new testament? The Apostle Paul best explains the law of God and sin in Romans 7. Paul kind of sums it up for mans nature concerning the law. He explains that it seems to be a fact of life that when we want to do what is right, we usually do what is wrong and there is a constant battle within us between good and evil. Remember that we are all sinners; thank God we have Jesus Christ, and that through repentance our sins can be forgiven. Question: What scripture best explains the purpose of baptism? There are many
scriptures on baptism, but I think Peter best explains it. (I
Peter 3:21) There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism
(not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a
good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus
Christ. Divorce
is not the unpardonable sin and is forgiven upon repentance. But
there are certain conditions for divorce. (Matthew
19:5-9) ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and
mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one
flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one
flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man
separate.” They said to Him, “Why then did Moses command to
give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?” He said to
them, “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted
you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so.
And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual
immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever
marries her who is divorced commits adultery.” Yes God is
a divorcee; Spiritually speaking. God divorced Israel. (Jeremiah
3:8) Then I saw that for all the causes for which backsliding
Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a
certificate of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah did not
fear, but went and played the harlot also. The
unpardonable sin is to blaspheme against the Holy Spirit. Many
scholars believe that this sin can only be committed if and when
you are delivered up to the Anti-Christ. You are not to speak your
mind, but you are to let the Holy Spirit speak through you. You do
not think that at this time you could hold your own against Satan,
do you? (Luke 12:9-12) But he who denies Me
before men will be denied before the angels of God. “And anyone
who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him;
but to him who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be
forgiven. “Now when they bring you to the synagogues and
magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you
should answer, or what you should say. For the Holy Spirit will
teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.” What
hour? The hour of temptation at Satan's return! This is very
common today in our society, we call it greed, and is easy to
spot. But you can find this verse in the book of Ecclesiastes. (Ecclesiastes
5:10) He who loves silver will not be satisfied with silver; Nor
he who loves abundance, with increase. This also is vanity. Christ came to
us as God in the flesh to defeat death through the resurrection so
that we may have salvation and eternal life. He came to save the
lost. (Matthew 18:11) For the Son of man is
come to save that which was lost. The milk of
the bible is the salvation message to babes or beginners, the meat
of His Word is when you dig deep into the message of the Word and
are taught how to discern truth between good and evil. The meat of
the Word is like a college education as compared to an elementary
school education. (Hebrews 5:12-14) For when
for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach
you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and
are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For
every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of
righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them
that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their
senses exercised to discern both good and evil. The bible
speaks of the fear of the Lord in many places, but In Proverbs it
tells us that fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. (Proverbs
1:7) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools
despise wisdom and instruction. You can find
it in the book of Galatians. We are all children of God through
faith in Jesus Christ and are all part of the many member body of
Christ (Galatians 3:26-29) For ye are all
the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you
as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is
neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is
neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And
if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according
to the promise. Traditions of
men is just what it says. The doctrine and false teachings when
men put a twist on God's Word. It may be certain beliefs, rituals,
ordinances etc. They do not align with God's Word and the
teachings of Christ. Always check out this man or any other man or
woman with the Word of God. Do not believe in old wise tales and
traditions. They mean nothing to the Heavenly Father. (Colossians
2:8) Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain
deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the
world, and not after Christ. (Colossians 2:14) Blotting out the
handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary
to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross. Listen
to God; not man! They should be
well equipped teachers of the Word, able to discern truth from
non-truth. They are to be good examples to the congregation. (I
Timothy 5:17) Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of
double honour, especially they who labour in the word and
doctrine. (I Peter 5:1-3) The elders which are among you I
exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of
Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight
thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre,
but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God's heritage,
but being examples to the flock. Yes... But remember that a prostitute can be forgiven upon repentance. (Leviticus 19:29) Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness. The problem we have here is that much of the land has become full of wickedness. Question: What scripture does it say that Christ defeated death? Christ
defeated death at the resurrection and has the power to destroy
the one who had the power of death. (Hebrews
2:14) Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and
blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that
through death he might destroy him that had the power of death,
that is, the devil. God is a consuming fire only to evil. His fire also warms the hearts of those who are good. (Hebrews 12:29) For our God is a consuming fire. Question: Where will the battle of Armageddon take place? Armageddon
actually means gathering place. So, the battle of Armageddon will
take place in the gathering place of Satan and his followers when
he appears over in Israel. (II
Thessalonians 2:4) Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all
that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God
sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. He not only
gives us a choice, but He will also give us a way out. (I
Corinthians 10:13) There hath no temptation taken you but such as
is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to
be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation
also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. In my opinion,
it is because many cannot handle the truth. Also, many will
receive a truth and then they ignore it or do nothing with it.
This would mostly be towards the unrighteous. (II
Thessalonians 2:10-11) And with all deceivableness of
unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the
love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause
God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a
lie.
God actually puts a stupor on many! Just look around; that
shouldn't be to hard to believe. All scripture
is important, but I believe the most important verse for one to
remember in the bible would be. (John 3:16)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life. You can find
them in. (Deuteronomy 5:7-21) God does not
hate homosexuals, He hates the act of homosexuality and finds it
an abomination. Homosexuality is a sin that can be forgiven upon
repentance. Many homosexuals have repented and changed their lives
and live normal lives being happily married to the opposite sex. (Leviticus
20:13) If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman,
both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be
put to death; their blood shall be upon them. All souls
belong to God from which they came. Satan can try to steal your
soul, but it still belongs to God to do with as He wills. (Ezekiel
18:4) Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so
also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall
die. Jesus came as
God in the flesh, but are both one and the same. (John
10:30) I and my Father are one. A murderer can
have no salvation in this flesh body and according to God's Word
should be put to death. However, God can do all things and the
murderer may possibly be forgiven in heaven after they face the
Heavenly Father and the one they murdered. (I
John 3:15) Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know
that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. (II Kings 14:6)
But the children of the murderers he did not execute, according to
what is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, in which the LORD
commanded, saying, “Fathers shall not be put to death for their
children, nor shall children be put to death for their fathers;
but a person shall be put to death for his own sin.” You will find
that the Word and God are the same in the book of John. (John
1:1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and
the Word was God. The
ordinances and blood rituals were nailed to the cross with the
crucifixion of Christ so that we are no longer under them. Christ
became the sacrificial lamb for all our sins upon repentance.
However the old law of the ten commandments still stands. Christ
did not come to destroy the law, but to fulfill the law. (Colossians
2:14) Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against
us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing
it to his cross. (Matthew 5:17-18) Do not think that I came to
destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to
fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass
away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law
till all is fulfilled. It is the fine
linen that weaves the robes that represent our righteous acts. No
good acts, no robe. (Revelation 19:8) And to
her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright,
for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. The two churches were Smyrna and Philadelphia. These are not actual names but locations and types. They both taught about the Kenites. Those who pretended to be Jews, but were of the synagogue of Satan. (Revelations 2:9) I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. (Revelation 3:9) Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. Question: What does the bible have to say about drinking alcohol? If you are
looking for scripture, I would say (Ephesians
5:18) And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but filled
with the spirit. It is alright to drink alcohol if you are
of age and it is not in excess. It should never take control of
you, or take you away from your responsibilities as a good
individual, parent, or citizen in any way. Moderation would be
the key here. There is nothing wrong with having a drink once in
a while. Although, the Heavenly Father would prefer that we be
filled more with His Spirit rather than alcohol or drugs. That
comes from hearing and studying His Word. You are on the
right track. The Key of David opens up the genealogy line as well
as the Levitical and King-ship of Melchizedek, (a Priest-King of
Jerusalem) who is our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. We have a
study topic titled "The Key of David" that should help
you. Very good
question and I will not try to be so evasive. Your answer can best
be found using a Strong's Concordance, along with the bible. Lets
take the word "Kenite" as used in Genesis 15:19-21, back
to the Hebrew. Strong's #7017 (Qeyniy, Kay-nee, or Qiyiy), I
Chronicles 2:55, Kenite or member of the tribe of Kajin: - Kenite.
Now lets take it back to the prime, Strong's #7014. (Qayin, Kah-yin,
Kajin) the name of the first child, also a place in Palestine, and
of the Oriental Tribe: Cain, Kenites. So as far as we know, they
may have originated from an "Oriental Tribe" but, I
cannot give you which specific one. However, we must relieze that
they mixed with other tribes. Many of their offspring mixing with
tribes such as the Hittites, Perizzites, Jebusites, Canaanites.
The book of Chronicles also speaks of the Kenites being the
families of the Scribes. (I Chronicles 2:55) The Kenites worked
their way among the Jews and dwelt in the land of Judah, just as
they are among us today. Reference: (Revelation 2:9) This message
was addressed to the church of Smyrna, who knew of the Kenites.
Even though they may have originated from an Oriental tribe, over
the years their offspring has spread into many different
nationalities and peoples. We would be better off to try and
identify them by their works rather than their nationality or type
of people. Satan is much smarter than that. He does not want
their identity out in the open. Also keep in mind that a "Kenite"
can always change for the better and have a chance of salvation if
they repent and believe upon our Lord Jesus Christ. Yes Revelation
13:17 says: And that no man might buy or
sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the
number of his name. But, you must follow the subject and
object of the whole chapter. Revelation 13:16 says: And
he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and
bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their
foreheads. If you notice it says "in" your hand
or "in" your forehead, and that is what it means. In you
head means in your brain through deception, and in your hand would
refer to the work that you do and support of anti-Christ or a
church through lets say donations. If you support a ministry with
works or donations that teaches false doctrines and traditions of
men rather that the truth of God's Word, that you might as well be
supporting anti-Christ. Satan is much smarter than that and he
works through the mind with deception, temptation, and evil
spirits, not so much through obvious signs. Matthew 24 and Mark
13, Christ warns us to be aware of anti-Christ, deception, and
false teachings. His main method of operation is deception and
confusion. This is why we need to rely on all supporting scripture
in the bible for most subjects. You can't always just take one
verse and come to a conclusion. That is why chapter by chapter and
verse by verse study is so important. For your answer on James, check
out appendix #182 The Lord's Brethren and this will help you. As
for the second question on creation, the bible tells us that all
the races were created on the sixth day. (Genesis 1:24-31) In
Genesis 2:5-7, there was not a man to till the ground, so God
formed man "et-ahadam" from the dust of the ground. Keep
in mind that this is a very controversial subject about the 6th
day races and 8th day creation of Adam. But it would only make
sense that all the races were created on the sixth day, including
the white race. Appendix #14, Synonymous Words Used For Man may
help you out a little. Cain and Abel were twins conceived by Eve. First she conceived Cain, thinking he was from the Lord, but continued in labor and conceived Abel. (Genesis 4:1-2). Then we find out that Abel was of the Lord and the Lord respected him, but Cain was of the devil and the Lord did not respect him. Cain killing Abel made him the first murderer. Cain was banished from the presence of the Lord and dwelt in the land of Nod. The Kenites are the sons of Cain or sons of the devil. As for the fallen angels, they left their habitation coming down to earth and physically seduced the daughters of Adam. The fallen angels refusing to be born of woman had seduced them instead. This is why their offspring produced the Gibbor or giants. Go to Appendix #20 Posterity of Cain, and Appendix #25 The Nephilim, and this should help you. Question: I am aware of Eve's sin in the garden and the birth of Cain and his offspring the Kenites. What was Adam's sin in the garden? Lets start with what had happened to Eve by Satan. It is believed by many scholars that Eve was sexually seduced by Satan. Now lets go over a few words in Genesis 3. Take the word "touch" in Genesis 3:3 back to the Hebrew. Strong's #5060 (lay hands upon or to lie with a woman). Now take the word "good" in Genesis 3:6, Strong's #2896 (pleasant, + pleaseth, pleasure). Now the word "desired" Strong's #2530 (covet, delight, desire, lust). Finally lets take the word "beguiled" in Genesis 3:13, Strong's #5377 (to delude, "morally" seduced). Paul would also use the word "beguiled" in II Corinthians 11:3, Strong's 1818 (Exapatao), to seduce wholly. Eve was "wholly seduced" by Satan; that was her sin. Adam also partook in the same act and was seduced by Satan; that was his sin. They were both seduced by Satan, and that was the reason they were naked and ashamed. Whether Adam was seduced by Eve while under the influence of Satan, or along with Satan, or whether Adam was seduced by Satan through a homosexual act, the fact of the matter is that he was also seduced by giving into Satan's sin. Remember that Satan is supernatural, and can appear in many different forms. Question: What verse in the bible says we bring nothing into this world and we will bring nothing out of this world when we die. You will find the verse in I Timothy 6:7. However, the only thing that goes with you when you die is your works. (Revelation 14:13) Question: Is the famine in the end time for food or God's Word? The famine in the end time is for hearing the "truth" in God's Word. The reason I emphasize "truth" is that there is a lot of false teachings that many believe is God's Word. (Amos 8:11) Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD. Question: Where does it say that when we die we return to God? Our soul and spirit return to God, the body returns to dust. (II Corinthians 5:8) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. (Ecclesiastes 12:7) Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Question: In Leviticus 20, I read the forbidden sexual practices and those that are to be stoned to death for the infraction. Can these people have salvation and aren't they in the same boat as murderers? So therefore, is their salvation only obtainable after death as a murderer ? Great question and you may have answered it yourself. Remember that Jesus came for the lost and the sinners so that all who is willing can obtain salvation. Now I am not sure if they would be in the same boat as a murderer, but even if they were, they would still be able to possibly obtain salvation. They may need to face their accuser at judgment day first, but it is not up to us to judge. We can leave that to the Father. Also remember that Jesus went and preached to the spirits in prison while He was three days in the tomb for some of the same type of sins. He preached to those who were on the wrong side of the gulf. (All the sinners before His time). (I Peter 3:18-20) Question: Should we confess our sins to God, or to a priest when we ask for forgiveness of our sins?Always confess your sins to God and repent. No man can forgive your sins or be your mediator between you and God. Christ is our only mediator and when you ask the Heavenly Father for forgiveness, always ask in Jesus name. Question: Can you tell me the scripture where it says that God has foretold us all things? You will find it in (Mark 13:23), where Christ just warned us that false Christ's and false prophets shall rise to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. You can also find this in the book of Peter. (II Peter 3:16-17) Question: Will our pets be with us in heaven when they die and where can I find scripture that says this? Yes... God loves all His creations and all will be in the eternity as we will. You can read of it in (Isaiah 11:6-9). They will no longer be carnivores and even the lion will lie with the lamb in peace. Question: Should we baptize in the name of Jesus, or in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, or doesn't it make any difference? This is a very controversial question, and many believe that we should baptize in Jesus name, while others believe that we should baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Hole Spirit. The expression "in the name of" actually means "by the authority of," "by the power of," "on behalf of," etc. Lets go to some scripture and see why there is so much controversy on the two. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20) This is a direct command from Jesus, and this is the way we baptize at the Good News Ministry. However, in the book of Acts, we find that they baptize in the name of Jesus Christ. Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38) This command was given by Peter. Here is another scripture in Acts: When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. (Acts 19:5) I believe this is where the controversy comes into play. I think the most important thing is the baptism and that in Jesus name or in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit would be a matter of preference and both be acceptable to our Heavenly Father. Question: Where does it say that it is God's will that we all will be saved? You will find that it says that God is "longsuffering" that we will all come to repentance and not perish. (II Peter 3:9) Question: Can you show me in the bible where it says murderers and rapists should be put to death? You will find your answer in (Deuteronomy 19:11-12, 22:25) If we followed this law there would be a lot less types of this crime committed. Question: Why is it that the wicked always seem to get ahead? Because it is hard to stand upright and righteous in this world that Satan has such a hold on. The scammers and greedy always get ahead because they do not care who they hurt as long as they benefit themselves. But, they will be cut off soon at the return of Christ. (Psalm 37:34-40) Question: Where does it say that God is like a evergreen tree and is that why we put Christmas trees in our homes? You will find in (Hosea 14:8) that God says He is like a green fir tree. He is that evergreen that represents eternal life and that is why the Christmas tree is symbolic of the tree of life which is Christ. Christ is the vine and we are the branches in the family of God. Question: What exactly is a righteous act? Is it studying the bible? I understand that it is kindness to others. What else constitutes a righteous act? Yes, kindness to others is a good start. Lets take a look at the word righteousness. The Hebrew word for righteousness is tseh'-dek, Strong's 6664—righteous, integrity, equity, justice, straightness. The root of tseh'-dek is tsaw-dak', Strong's 6663—upright, just, straight, innocent, true, sincere. It is best understood as the product of upright, moral action in accordance with some form of divine plan. The two words that stand out the most to me is integrity (honesty), and sincerity (in good faith). Your righteous acts could be anything from sharing a truth in God's Word, listening to someone when they need your advice, helping someone in a time of need, or just a smile to make someone's day. But, remember... The key here is to be honest and sincere. If it does not truly come from the heart or is just for attention or gain, it is not a righteous act. Also, when it comes to studying the Word and sharing it with others, make sure that it is a "truth" in the Word and not a false teaching or tradition of men. God knows our hearts, so we cannot fool Him when it comes to righteous acts. Question: In I Corinthians 11:10 it says that woman should have power over her head because of the angels. What power and what angels is it talking about? Woman is to have power over her head because of the fallen angels that will return with Satan. The power on her head she is to have is Christ. Because just as the fallen angels took the daughters of Adam when they left their habitation, they will return again looking to do the same thing. Always keep Christ over your head whether your a man or a woman. Think about it. The fallen angels may have some trouble telling them apart in today's generation. Question: Where is it written that Christ is our Passover? You will find it in the Book of Corinthians: Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us. (I Corinthians 5:7) Christ is the Passover lamb slain for our sins and protection against the Devil. For He has defeated death which is the devil! Question: Are you a Sabbath keeping ministry or Sunday keeping ministry? Good question on the Sabbath, and I know where you are coming from. If I was to choose a specific day it would be Sabbath keeping. But, as stated in Matthew 12:8, Mark 2:28, and Luke 6:5, Christ is Lord even of the Sabbath. Sabbath simply means "day of rest," as God created the heavens and earth and rested on the seventh day or Sabbath. I like to think of it as Christ has become our day of rest or Sabbath. This particular ministry being a online ministry, worships every day in Christ. I believe every day that one should or could find rest in Christ. Whether it be praying to Him, thanking Him, or just living our daily life in Him is rest and peace for us and pleasing to Him. To read, or study and share His Word will give you peace of mind and rest in Him. So in a way, every day is the Sabbath when we live as true Christians. This is just my opinion, and I sincerely respect the way others may feel about the Sabbath. Question: Thank you for the lovely website designed to educate people and deliver truth of God's message. My question is do I need to speak in unknown tongues to be saved? Glad you enjoy the website and we hope you will continue your studies with us. All the glory goes to the Heavenly Father. As for your question on unknown tongues. Do not let anyone tell you that you need to speak in tongues to be saved. This is not true and has nothing to do with salvation or being a born again Christian. There is no such thing as "unknown tongues" in the bible. Where it is in the bible if you notice, it is written in Italics which means it was added by man. It is not in the original transcripts. The word "tongue" simply means language; it also refers to the "tongue" of Pentecost day that through the Holy Spirit, everyone understood what was spoken in their own language (dialect), on that day. (Tongue in the Strong's Greek dictionary #1100 simply means language). We have a study topic titled "The Tongue of Pentecost" that will help you. Question: Is there scripture that says you should not mock God?Yes... Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. (Galatians 6:7) Question: What does God want from us as Christians? He want your love and for you to have knowledge of His Word. (Hosea 6:6) Question: Where does it speak of the healing Word in the bible? In several places it speaks of the healing Word. Here are a few scriptures to help you out. (Psalm 107:20, Psalm 147:15-18, II Kings 20:4-5, Matthew 8:8) Question: Where can I find the Old Testament laws of divorcement and do they apply to us today? You will find them in (Deuteronomy 24:1-5) You can also find part of your answer in the New Testament (Matthew 19:5-9). Yes they would apply to us today. Remember that divorce can come about for many good reasons, and upon repentance will be forgiven by the Heavenly Father. Question: Can you tell me where it says that judgment will be on the church first or starts at the pulpit and what does it mean? You will find it in in the book of Peter. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? (I Peter 4:17) Peter is saying that judgment must start at the church because that is where God's Word is supposed to be taught. The problem is that many churches are not teaching the truth of the Word, and judgment will begin there first. Peter goes on to say if judgment begins with the church, just think what will happen on judgment day to those who do not obey or study God's Word at all. I would not want to be one of those preachers or teachers who mislead the people with false teachings and traditions of men. God will come down on them very hard at judgment day. Question: What scripture in the bible says that God gives some people "eyes not to see" and "ears not to hear" the truth and why would He do this? Also, does this apply to people today? Romans 11:8 says that God has given them the "spirit of slumber," eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear unto this day. We will also read of this in Isaiah 29:10. Yes this would apply to us today and is very obvious in many people. Why does He do this? Because many people cannot handle the truth. They are so wrapped up in traditions of men that when they hear a truth in the Word they just blow-it-off. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (II Timothy 4:4) Even if they accept the truth, chances of them of sharing it with others are slim to none. God opens up truths to the Word to those who will believe them and take action on them sharing what they have received with others. But we must be able to discern truth form tradition and false teachings. To do this we must fully search the scriptures as it is written. Question: How do we know if we receive the comforter, or the gift of the Holy Spirit? Also, how can we tell if someone has the gift of the Holy Spirit? The book of John would explain it best. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. (John 16:13) The spirit of truth (Holy Spirit), will guide you to all truth. You can tell if someone has the gift of the Holy Spirit if they are sharing or teaching the truth. If they are filling your head with traditions of men and false teachings, I would question whether they had the Holy Spirit or not. They may have the "spirit of slumber" (Romans 11:8), or may have a different spirit within. Satan turns the minds of many through false teachings! Question: Where does it say that some were chosen by God before the foundation of the world? You will find it in the book of Ephesians. According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love. (Ephesians 1:4) Question: Is there any scripture that says animals have souls, I cannot find any? Great question. I think there are several different opinions on this one. I believe you are correct in saying there is no scripture that says that animals have a soul, but in my opinion, if they did, I do not think it would be the same as our soul. We know that there will be animals in the new Kingdom in the next world age here on earth, but on the other hand, in the book of Genesis, man was given dominion over the animals. God also created us in His image and the image of the angels, not the image of the animals, which would also be a clue that we have a different soul. We can also refer to Genesis 1:21-24 and Genesis 2:7. Reference in the Hebrew Strong's #2416 and the meaning of "living" (chay), pertaining to the creation of animals in Genesis 1:21-24. Now reference Hebrew Strong's #5315 and the meaning of "soul" (nephesh), pertaining to the "breath of life" that God (blew into the his nostrils) when He created man in Genesis 2:7. I think that "living" and "soul" here are different when pertaining to man and creatures of the earth. Although you may notice that at the end of Genesis 2:7, it says man became a "living soul," (chay nephesh). This is where I believe some make the connection that our souls are the same as the animals, or that animals have a soul. Just my opinion, I hope this will help! Question: Is there any scripture that says how the bible came about and if it is the Word of God? You can find how the bible came about in the book of Timothy. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. (II Timothy 3:16) Question: Was Jesus created in the first world age or has He been here since the beginning of time? Jesus is the Word and God, and is the beginning of time. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1) What are Christian saints according to the
Bible? He not only comes peacefully, but he comes prosperously. You can read about it in the book of Daniel. Satan as the vile person and the little horn. Daniel 8:9, 8:25, 11:21, 11:24. He comes in peace pretending to be Christ and will deceive many. How? In Daniel 11:24 it explains that he will enter the richest areas of the land and take the property and wealth of the rich and scatter it among the people. That will make you pretty popular with a lot of people that are just getting by day to day and paycheck to paycheck. Question: Can you give me scripture where it says God is against witchcraft, physics, fortune tellers etc. You will find it in the Old Testament book of Deuteronomy 18:10-12. God finds this type of practices an abomination. Question: Are we all sinners according to God and is there scripture that says we are? Yes we are all sinners. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: (Romans 3:23-24) We have a study topic titled "Were all sinners" that may help you. Question: Is it alright for women to
wear makeup and jewelry? Question: Could you please explain Ecclesiastes 5:10-12 about lovers of money and does this apply to people today? Yes it applies to us today. It says that he who loves money shall never have enough and people are just foolish thinking wealth brings happiness. The more you have the more you will spend right up to the limits of your income. It goes on to say that the man who works hard sleeps well whether he eats little or much, but the rich must worry and suffer insomnia. Question: What scripture does it say that our body returns to dust and the spirit goes to heaven? You will find it in the Old testament book of Ecclesiastes. Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. (Ecclesiastes 12:7) You will also find where it says that the spirit returns to the Lord in II Corinthians 5:8. Question: What book in the bible tell us about God's curses? You will find God's curses and blessings in the Old Testament Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28. God is not out to put curses on people, they bring problems on themselves. He will correct us at times, but He loves us as a father would love his child. He is our Heavenly Father and all He wants is our love in return. Question: Where does it state not to harm those with the seal of God in the tribulation? You can find your answer in the book of Revelation where it is talking about the locust army upon the earth. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. (Revelation 9:4) Question: Where can I find that Michael the Angel fought with Satan in heaven in the bible. It is written in Revelation 12:7-9, where Michael wars with Satan in heaven and cast him and his angels out of heaven and down to earth. Question: What caused Satan to go bad? It was pride that caused Satan to fall. (Ezekiel 28:15-19) It was not only pride but his lust for gain. It is Satan's number one method of operation to puff someone up. How many people do you know out there that are puffed up in their head? Always thinking they are so great and lusting to get ahead of others in status and in wealth. Give them a title and they "really" think their something. Never needing God, they think they can do it all on their own. Just like Satan did when he rebelled! Question: How should we pray to God? Alone, repetitious, with others, how? Christ tells us how we should pray in the book of Matthew. We are to pray in secret and not in public as the hypocrites do. We are also not to pray repetitious prayers as the heathens do. (Matthew 6:1-13) Question: Where does it say that God reveals His secrets to the prophets. You will find it in the book of Amos. Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. (Amos 3:7) Question: Who are the 144,000 in Revelation 14? These are the elect who were not deceived by Satan and stand against him when he returns as the anti-Christ. Question: Why did God come in the flesh like man? He came to defeat death, so that death will have no hold over us. You will find your answer in Hebrews. (Hebrews 2:12-15) Question: Can you give me the scripture where is says that there is nothing new under the sun and God will give us a way out with our problems? You can find it in (I Corinthians 10:13), and what it is saying; is that there is no temptation that will come upon you that is new to man, and that you cannot handle. When temptation comes, God will always give you a way out, if you listen to and trust in Him. Question: Where in the Old Testament
does it mention the two advents? Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass. (Zechariah 9:9) This is the first advent. And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth. (Zechariah 9:10) This would be the second advent when Christ returns on the white horse. (Revelation 19:11) Question: What scripture does it say
that Christ is the only one who can kill the soul? And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28) Don't fear man or Satan; fear the one who can both destroy your body and soul. That would be our Heavenly Father!
