America gone wild

 

  America the beautiful, the super power of the world, chosen by God to be the peace keeper of the end times. But what has gone wrong? Has the United States gone astray from the values that this great nation was founded? Has God been replaced with a more liberal form of ideals and worship? Have the political leaders, priests and pastors ignored the truth, replacing it with political correctness, false doctrine, fairy tails, and traditions of men? Are we following the ways of the world and forgetting the laws of God? Has America gone wild? Well, it appears that all of the above are true, and our Heavenly Father is in the process of getting our attention.

  So, where does America stand, and where are we heading in the near future? Can America turn from these worldly ways and get back on track; once again embracing the religious and constitutional freedom which this nation was built on? It appears that we are taking a turn for the worse and America is falling from the graces of God. However, it does not need to be that way. God is warning us to "wake-up" and realize what is going on in this country. Things are getting way out of control and the headlines today seem to agree that, "anything goes."  

Political correctness vs. moral values

 What is political correctness? It is simply a culture war on traditional family values. (Hard work, thrift, cleanliness, self-reliance, heterosexual marriage, family activities, neighborliness, and unrestricted prayer). Everything is changing; what was once right, has become wrong, what was considered wrong, has now become politically correct. "Its all heading towards the downfall of our society and a great nation."

Righteous leadership

  What are our moral responsibilities as a world power and free nation under God? Our main objective should be a good example to the rest of the world. Our values should be influenced by God; sincere, and upright. Not influenced by Satan; deceptive, and hypocritical. When you start leaving the righteous influence of God out of the equation, we leave it open to evil creeping in and taking over. "Satan being the prince and ruler of this world." Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: (Ephesians 2:2). Following the crowds and were just like all the others, full of sin and obeying Satan, "the prince of the power of the air." He is at work right now in the hearts of those who are against the laws of God. (Its Satan's spirit that is with the world right now, but in the near future, he will be here in person). And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Revelation 12:9). This is when Satan is cast out of heaven and into the earth. Up to this period it was just his spirit roaming the earth. Satan will be cast out to the earth just before the return of Christ (the 5 months of tribulation), when Satan will be here in the flesh pretending to be Christ.

Where did we go wrong

  We have ignored the commandments of God. Worse off, some denominations have even changed them. How so you may ask? Lets cover the ten commands, and see if we are keeping them according to God.

1.) We as Christians are not to have any other gods before us: (Well, we know that this world is full of other gods that people worship).

2.) We are not to make any graven images, or any likeness of any thing in heaven above, or on earth: (People pray to all kind of statues, from Buddha to the virgin marry). This commandment of God was omitted according to certain church doctrine. (Check the catechism).

3.) We are not to take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: This does not mean just to swear a little; but when you use the Lords name in a  profane, irreverence or disrespectful way. It also refers to one who prays in the name of the Lord and then continues habitual sinning. (How many people today use God to curse at others, or pray in the name of Jesus Christ in public as the hypocrites, just to go out and sin again and again)?

4.) Keep the Sabbath day holy, as God has commanded: Another one changed from Saturday to Sunday. Very few denominations keep the Sabbath day as their day of worship. Yes, Christ is our Sabbath (we find our rest in Him), but He did not come to change the law, but to fulfill the law. (The ten commandments are here to stay and obey). All of them, "we can't pick and choose."

5.) We are to honor our father and mother: Wow, has this one gone to pot. Respect for elders is hardly heard of anymore. Children today are disobedient, spoiled, and run their parents in every part of life. (Need to bring the old woodshed back for a little discipline instead of time outs and redirections). A little pain has a way of getting ones attention.

6.) Thou shalt not kill: This has become out of control among adults as well as our youth today. They have no sense of value for human life. "They will kill you for a few dollars, or a bag of weed." The idea of killing has become rampant through video games, rap music, and prime television viewing. (Now we even have shows on "how to get away with murder").

7.) Thou shalt not commit adultery: This one has become a joke in today's world. Cheating on your wife or husband has become accepted and even encouraged by many to keep the marriage fresh and alive. (Wife swapping, group sex, porn, prostitution, and homosexuality, has all become part of the ever increasing perverted values we now embrace). Oh, I forgot; "Its politically correct now days."

8.) Thou shalt not steal: It just can't be done in today's modern world. The whole economic system is corrupt. Big banks, stock markets, corporate America, manufacturing, pharmaceutical drugs, the auto industry, just to name a few, are all ripping off the public. (Its not about stealing a piece of candy; its about raking people blind).

9.) Neither shall thou bear false witness against thy neighbor: How do you think we are doing on this one? Not so good... Gossip, gossip, gossip, it never ends. People make up stories against others that will make your head spin. They just can't wait to put their spin on a story against another. (Be extra aware of those who swear not to lie in court).

10.) Thou shalt not desire thy neighbors wife, or covet thy neighbors goods: Everyone is probably guilty of this one. Well, maybe not you; who would never be jealous of what your friend, family member, or neighbor may have. Would you? Again, the 10th commandment was split into two commandments, within the same church doctrine, as the second commandment was omitted. (Check catechism again).

Change or judgment

  So, with that being said, do I need to say more on where we went wrong? It appears that the people of America have broken every commandment of God and it continually gets worse. Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. (Isaiah 1:4). We have become a sinful nation loaded down with guilt; an evil and corrupt people who have rejected the Lord and turned their backs on Him. "There has been a great rejection of God in all nations and God is not happy with us." And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts. (Haggai 2:7). All nations are being shaken as we speak; physically, financially, politically, socially, and worse of all spiritually. (Its spiritual warfare out there). "It will only get worse in the near future." With the moral and spiritual decline of our nation (the super power of the world), we need to repent, get our act together, and get back to the bible. "Otherwise there will be swift judgment coming our way from God." The direction this country is heading is not acceptable; we are failing ourselves, failing as the superpower of the world, and we are failing God. America is its worse enemy, bringing forth judgment upon itself. "America has gone wild." The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. (2 Peter 3:9). "Wake Up America and Repent!"
