Evangelical Deception

  Just when you find that the majority of Christian pastors, priests, and pious religious leaders are known for false teachings, twisted scripture, and slippery ways to get into your pockets; they always seem to surprise you with their cunning and worldly political ways. It's easy to spot the hypocrisy in Catholicism, and now it's becomming more prevalent among protestants. Evangelicals are to be representatives of the reformation and followers of Jesus Christ. Their job is to bring truth of God’s Word to the people, setting them free from religious organizations that bind and control you with traditions of men and their outdated rituals. If your going to dip your toes into politics as an Evangelical leader, let the "Holy Spirit" guide you; not some fool holding up a bible. Answer not a fool according to his folly, Lest thou also be like unto him. (Psalm 26:4). An evangelist needs to be strong in God’s Word. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. (2 Timothy 4:5). Keep focused on the Word and keep a clear mind in every situation. Don't be afraid to suffer for the Lord and fully carry out your ministry. "It's not all a joy ride."

Warning to the people...

   Don’t call yourself Christian and follow false prophets. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. (2 Corinthians 11:13). These people are false teachers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ. (Matthew 24, Mark 13).

  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. (Matthew 7:15). A prophet is a true man of God and teacher of the Word. Plenty of fakes out there deceiving people teaching their own doctrine and traditions of men. Christ warns us to stay away from these wolves in sheep's clothing.

  And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. (Matthew 24:11). Many false prophets (So called teachers of the Word), will appear and lead many astray. Just turn of the television, radio, or click on the internet and you will find all kinds of deception and false teachings. There are some good churches, television, radio and internet ministries out there, but not that many who teach the full gospel truth. If you find one, stick with them.

  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. (Colossians 2:8). Forget about the philosophy and traditions of men who follow the wickedness of this world instead of Christ. We all need to live in this world, but we do not need to take part in the world’s wickedness. When you do, it hurts our Heavenly Father, just as it would hurt any parent who cares for their child. Do what you need to do each day to get by, but always lean towards the Holy spirit in your decisions.

Warning to the clergy...

  As for those phony evangelicals, priests, and teachers of God’s Word. A false witness shall not be unpunished; And he that uttereth lies shall perish. (Proverbs 19:9). They may fool many people with their constant lies, but they will not go unpunished; and without repentance, shall perish without any chance of salvation. Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ (Matthew 7:21-23). Not everyone who calls out to the Lord will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Many think just because they put on the act of being a believer they are right with God. You must be doing the will of God "Not the will of man." They say they teach in the name of Jesus, but God never sent them. God will reject and expose them for their evil deeds (breakers of His law) and false teachings. (Luke 13:27). Jesus will tell them; I NEVER KNEW YOU!

  There are six things which Jehovah hateth; Yea, seven which are an abomination unto him: Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood; A heart that deviseth wicked purposes, Feet that are swift in running to mischief, A false witness that uttereth lies, And he that soweth discord among brethren. (Proverbs 6:16-19). God does not like the proud and arrogant, the dishonest and lying tongue, hands that hurt the innocent, a deceiving heart, those who search out evil, false witness and liars, one who causes conflict between people. Evangelicals and all religious leaders better watch out who they support, because if it is a man with these credentials, God will not be happy. If all the clergy falls for a foolish leader, just think how easy it will be for them to be deceived by the anti-christ when he appears on the scene. No one political party is better than the other; they both have fallen away from God's laws and follow the ways of the world.

A note from the editor: If you are wondering why I am even writing this newsletter, it is because I am a 71 year old non-denominational evangelical Christian who has been studying God's Word over 50 years and teaching the Word over 30 years. I am truely disappointed in many of the evangelical leaders of today who are so easly swayed and deceived. Who are you working for? You are supposed to be working for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; as well as the people who support you. Be a real Christian and follow Christ and His ways; not the ways of man, or the devil. Stand up for what you really believe, but get there through the teachings of Jesus Christ. You know Christ did not follow mans evil ways, or even the ways of the clergy. He followed the ways of the Heavenly Father. Let's get our act together and get back to work for the true leader of our faith and our country. IN GOD WE TRUST!
