Kings
and Children
There was a vision given to the prophet Isaiah by God concerning all of Israel in the end times. It was prophesized against Judah and Jerusalem at the time, but concerns us all in the present and future sense. (Isaiah 1:1). The prophecy was that the children of God He had raised up and cared for had grown to rebel against Him. (Isaiah 1:2). Israel doesn't even know who it's God is. (Isaiah 1:3, Deuteronomy 32:28-29, Jeremiah 4:22). They have become a sinful nation loaded with guilt and corrupt children who have rejected the Lord, provoking Him to anger. (Isaiah 1:4). A generation who have turned their backs on the Lord. (Psalm 78:8, Jeremiah 7:26, 16:11-12, Matthew 23:33).
This generation is getting older now as they begin to take hold of official positions in office that run the countries of the world. The problem is that these leaders of today are acting more like children than adults, just as prophesized by the Lord through the prophet Isaiah. (Greedy, spoiled, and no respect). Lets see what the Lord says about these leaders, judges, high officials, and officers who run the world. We will turn to the book of Isaiah chapter three to begin our study.
Isa 3:1 For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water, Lord of hosts: For emphasis. Looks like a famine coming. (More like a political ruin of Judah).
Isa 3:2 The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient, The judges, prophets, prudent (fortune tellers), today we call them "palm readers and psychics," ancient (elders).
Isa 3:3 The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator. Army officers, high officials, skilled craftsmen, and astrologers.
Isa 3:4 And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them. Boys will be their leaders and toddlers their rulers. (Look how the children are running their parents today, and the parents let it happen). "Oh, I'll just give my kid a time out or a redirection." Time to bring the old woodshed back into practice. "God is going to cut these child like rulers off."
Isa 3:5 And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable. People will harass each other, man against man, neighbor against neighbor. Young people with no respect towards their elders, people will despise the honorable. (All points to this world today).
Isa 3:6 When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand: It will be so bad that if one has a coat, he will be elected as a leader. (i.e. those who are better off than others). Everyone wanting to pass the buck on someone else. "No one really wants to rule the correct way, with God as their guide."
Isa 3:7 In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people. Those who may qualify to rule will not be interested. (Their tired of all the nonsense and child play with these leaders of today).
Isa 3:8 For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory. Off into the worldly things and refuse to obey the Lord.
Isa 3:9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves. Their faces gives them away. "Can't hide your sins from God!" The sin of Sodom was that they had no shame, but were proud of their sin. (Jeremiah 3:3, 6:15). Throw it right in Gods face and the face of real Christians. (Proverbs 30:13). (i.e. those who force their perverted rights on everybody through the laws of man). "They just don't care about God and take Him out of everything." (Sings of your child like rulers).
Isa 3:10 Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. However, the true and faithful Christian (the righteous, or Gods elect), (Malachi 3:18), will enjoy the rich reward they have earned. (Galatians 6:7-8). "These are the type of leaders we should be electing." Not a bunch of lying, name calling, hypocrites who prey on the minorities, weak minded, and poor to promote their worldly ways.
Isa 3:11 Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him. The wicked get what they deserve. (Psalm 28:4, Proverbs 1:31, Psalm 120:3-4). "You reap what you sow." These wicked kings and child like leaders will be taken care of in the end.
Isa 3:12 As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths. You have childish leaders who rule over the people, and women rule over them. (You don't need to look to far to see that taking place). Behold, thy people in the midst of thee are women: the gates of thy land shall be set wide open unto thine enemies: the fire shall devour thy bars. (Nahum 3:13). Your troops will be as weak and helpless as women. The gates of your land will be opened wide to the enemy and set on fire. (Jeremiah 51:30). "A bunch of sissy's." If your going to be a man, act like one. And ladies, quit trying to act like men. (It's not appealing). Everyone needs to know their place in the kingdom of God.
Isa 3:13 The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people. The Lord takes His place against the people in judgment.
Isa 3:14 The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses. The elders and rulers have become rip-off artists against the poor. Corporate America is ripping off the public. Churches are begging for money all the time to benefit themselves. The hard working class of America is under bondage from the greedy rich and the poor who do not want to work for a living, always looking for a free ride. "God does not like it!"
Isa 3:15 What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts. You crush the people right in front of God and think nothing of it. (Never realizing that we are all God's children).
Isa 3:16 Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet: The women walking proud of their appearance with flirting eyes, and dainty steps, make tinkling sounds as they move nimbly.
Isa 3:17 Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts. Their pride and joy will be exposed.
Isa 3:18 In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon, Judgment day will take away everything that makes them beautiful. This word "tires" here is: Hebrew H7720 "saharon" meaning "round pendant for the neck, or type of headband."
Isa 3:19 The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers, Earrings, bracelets, and face veils.
Isa 3:20 The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings, Scarves, ankle bracelets and charms. Tablets: Dwelling place of the soul.
Isa 3:21 The rings, and nose jewels, They pierce anything today.
Isa 3:22 The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins, Party clothes, gowns, and purses.
Isa 3:23 The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails. Fine linen undergarments and shawls.
Isa 3:24 And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty. Instead of perfume, she will stink. A rope for a sash, and her elegant hair will fall out. She will wear burlap instead of a robe, and shame will replace her beauty.
Isa 3:25 Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war. They will lose the war with the antichrist because of these acts, as well as false teachers who lead you away from the truth of Gods Word with traditions of men.
Isa 3:26 And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground. Devastation will set in and the gates of Zion will weep and mourn. (Jeremiah 14:2).
Isa 4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach. Most of the men are gone (killed off), and the women will fight to get married so they will not be mocked as old maids. You want a world run by women and children? It will happen just as it is written. Kings and children; rule as children and you can see what happens. However, the day is near when we will all be under rule of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, "Jesus Christ."
