Listen To The Music

 

  One thing that people seem to have in common among a world of division is music. As far back as the beginning of time, music has played it's roll in all cultures. Back in the book of Genesis, we will find one of the first musicians named Jubal. And his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ. (Genesis 4:21). Music played a big part throughout the bible and God himself loves music. Our Heavenly Father wanted music to be a joyful way of communication between Himself and His children. He wants us to communicate joyfully with each other and music again plays a big part.

  Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. (Ephesians 5:19). Talk with each other about the Lord and be joyful. God wants you to be happy. Sing and praise Him in your heart with songs of joy. (Good clean music with a positive message). Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. (Colossians 3:16). The Words of Christ will make you wise if you study them and teach them to others. Sing spiritual songs and hymns to the Lord with thankful hearts.

  Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. (James 5:13). If you are suffering, pray about it, If you are happy, praise and thank the Lord with the joy of music. Songs of praise to the Lord are wonderful, but they are not the only types of music that our Heavenly Father enjoys. He created all the races and loves all types of music whether it's instrumental or vocals and has a positive message. What He does not like is negative or destructive music. It is better for a man to hear the rebuke of the wise than to hear the song of fools. (Ecclesiastes 7:5). Never listen to advice from a fool, or music that has a negative or destructive message. (You know there is a lot of garbage music out there that pollutes the minds of many). Our Heavenly Father gave us some awesome talented musicians in the world today, so enjoy their music and their message.

  In the last days all who believe and will be saved will have a special song to sing. And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. (Revelation 15:3). The complete Song of Moses can be found in (Deuteronomy 32:1-43). The song of the lamb would be the entire Word of God. "The song of Joy." Why? Time to get rid of all the evil ones in the world. Pay close attention to (Deuteronomy 32:15-18), where it says to beware of the wicked party boys "Jeshurun" (prosperous), "waxed fat" (oily or gross), "and kicked" (trample down). Speaking of the "good timers" who gain wealth, women, and power, forgetting about God. They follow the ways of the world and strange doctrines. (They don't care, or need God anymore). "At least they think so." Also, pay close attention to (Deuteronomy 32:31-33), where is says "their rock is not our Rock." Notice the lower case "rock" representing Satan; and the upper case "Rock" representing Christ. (The wicked follow the false rock). Their day of calamity is at hand. (Deuteronomy 32:35).

  So, bottom line, keep it clean and positive and enjoy your music. Remember, music can be very magical and powerful; "Music makes the world go round."
